Merrymeet, Liskeard
The Liskeard Show is one of the biggest in the South West, and has
always had a wide selection of high quality entries in the large animal
classes, and you can see smaller animals, cavies, donkeys, poultry,
fruit and vegetables, and flowers, as well: or better still, come and
compete! Displays of livestock and country crafts, with
trade stands, local food tent and main ring entertainment. Hot and cold
snacks available throughout the day. Competitions including show jumping,

Stithians Show
2008
Stithians Show is one of the largest and oldest one day shows in the
country. Established in 1834, it has been held continuously since then
(except for three years during the first world war, and five years
during the second and 2001 due to foot & mouth concerns). It is held
annually in July and the attendance is in excess of 20,000 people each
year. The main attractions at Stithians Show are the thirteen
'Sections', where people exhibit and compete in a large variety of

Boconnoc
Steam Fair
A 3 day event spread over 40 acres of beautiful Boconnoc Estate, Nr
Liskeard. A thousand vintage mechanical exhibits. Free day-long trailer
rides hauled by steam engines, free car parking. Model and Craft marquees.
Trade Stands, traditional fun fair, beer tent and many other attractions. Boconnoc House also open for viewing.
Opportunities to ride on steam engines, visit the lake
and see a steam boat, traditional fun fair, beer tent and many many more
attractions. There is something for all the family to enjoy a memorable
day out in the beautiful grounds of Boconnoc Estate. Sunday morning
