The
Royal Cornwall Show Wadebridge
For three days each year the showground at Wadebridge is transformed into
a living town, bustling with life, energy, agriculture, entertainment and
trade. Well over 110,000 people visit the show each year so the
showground has to be able to cope. That’s why the Royal Cornwall
Agricultural Association continually invests in new and improved

Jazz Picnic at Morwellham Quay, Nr Tavistock
With 6 jazz bands playing at 5 different venues on the quayside during
the evening - featuring the Rod Chambes Louisiana Joymakers, Neil Maya
Quartet & The Ivybridge Community College Jazz Band, Jelly Roll Trio,
Great Western Jazz Company and The Half Quartet. With bars and

Mid Summer Eve
Bonfire
Kit Hill summit (SX 375 713) - controlled parking below the summit,
disabled parking is available.. This traditional gathering on the summit
of Kit Hill marks the eve of Mid Summer with a bonfire, lit as the
sunsets. Verses are spoken in Cornish & English, and herbs & weeds are
cast into the flames by the Lady of the Flowers. Fire lit at 10pm prompt
so arrive in time to walk to the bonfire site. Please bring torch & warm
clothing children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult. Organised by

The town of Looe welcomes you the the fifth
Looe Festival of the Sea. The theme has always been about Looe's
considerable links to the sea and this year is no exception! The event
is very much a home grown celebration of all things Cornish. All the

The
Ann Glanville Victorian Saltash Town Regatta
This is the 173rd Saltash Regatta, although there is a Saltash Sailing
Club dinghy regatta, the main focus is on rowing. For the third year,
Saltash will host the second largest gig racing venue outside the
Scillies, with the County Mixed and Vets Championship, together with
Cornish flash boat racing and the historic 1909 Prince of Wales Cup for
the Navy. There is also the hilarious fancy-dress England and Back
racing for amateur crews, and a new event – the Five Towns Challenge.
The theme of the Saturday pageant and procession this year will be Ann
Glanville (Renowned Saltash rower) and the Victorian Regatta. There will
also be a quality Craft Fair, a Continental and Cornish Market, with
lots of live bands, music, demonstrations, Wreckers Morris and childrens
