 The
2008 Dehwelans Cornish Homecoming will be held in and around
Looe in South East Cornwall.

Cornwall during Dehwelans:
1st-7th Sept 2008, Looe, Cornwall.

attend the 3rd Grand Homecoming to Cornwall and the Annual
Gorsedd*.
Over the coming months Best
of South East Cornwall will feature Dehwelans news,
information and links leading up to the 3rd Dehwelans Cornish
Homecoming to Looe in September 2008.
The third homecoming for
descendants of the Cornish diaspora, will be held at the
historic harbour town of Looe on the south Cornish coast
The festival will include:-
- A Bishop Trelawny tour to nearby Pelynt;
- Extensive family history research facilities;
- Made in Cornwall craft and food fair;
- The Cornish Gorsedd.
There will be an opportunity to meet with Sir John Trelawny
- direct descendant of Bishop Trelawny - at a reading of his
novel, 'The Islanders', and on a visit to Looe Island.
