Our Location
Ye Olde Plough House Inn has the
best of both worlds nestling in the heart of the Cornish countryside
and yet only three miles from the seaside town of Looe on the
southwest coast.
The AA pub walk guide has published a walk
from The Plough through the village passing the ancient stone circle
(a popular tourist attraction) and the well-known St. Cuby’s Church.
The walk takes you down through the woods on a circular route -
takes about an hour and a half and covers some 4 miles (some of it
hilly). The surrounding woods are particularly beautiful and are
well worth a visit in bluebell season.
The Plough is a recognised
watering hole on the Liskeard to Looe Rail Ale Trail
with routes, timetable etc available in the Rail Ale Guide. Why not
take the
Rail Ale Trail?
