Nestling on the hillside below All Saints Church, Kitts Cottage overlooks the tiny village of Herodsfoot. It is just six miles from the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro and a similar distance from spectacular Bodmin Moor. Kitts Cottage is the ideal base for visiting the Eden

Project and the many gardens, historic houses and castles of Cornwall. And, if you want to leave your car at the cottage, there are lovely walks from your cottage door – through Deerpark and Pendruffle Woods and following the West Looe river down to Looe.

The first records of Kitts Cottage date from 1860 when it was part of a row of miners cottages part of which later housed the village blacksmiths and a pub (now long gone!). The cottage has been in the Kitt family since 1901. It has recently been renovated and is now furnished and equipped to the highest standards whilst retaining its distinctive charm.
